There are lots of places Joseph Birchall could start his story but for the purposes of this strand of his life, it might be best to begin in Hollywood. In the late 1990s, Birchall, who had begun working as a mechanic after growing up in Tallaght, had headed for the US and found himself in California where one of his brothers owned a mobile mechanic business.
