Irish e-bike maker Modmo started 2022 the right way by landing €5 million in funding from property developer Sean Mulryan. It was a coup for founders Jack and his dad John O’Sullivan and promised to be the beginning of a lucrative partnership with Mulryan’s Ballymore group. Mulryan saw a potential slot for the start-up among the 80,000 bike parking spaces planned across his developments, including the new neighbourhood under construction by the Guinness brewery.
