For the past week, Eddie Jordan and Keith O’Loughlin have been holed up together in the South African port city of Cape Town. Jordan, the charismatic former Formula One boss, and O’Loughlin, an Irish-born gaming and tech veteran, are long-time friends and regular cycling partners. More recently, however, they have started to work on business deals together. And for the past week, the two Irishmen have been preparing their bid for Altada, the embattled Cork artificial intelligence firm currently being sold by a receiver.
