When delegates gathered in Dublin for Wind Energy Ireland’s annual conference on February 14, their window had just closed to make submissions to the European Commission ahead of its proposals to “reform the European Union’s electricity market design to better protect consumers from excessive price volatility, support their access to secure energy from clean sources, and make the market more resilient”.
