The former chair of Independent News & Media (INM) Leslie Buckley has acknowledged in legal correspondence that he is availing of directors and officers (D&O) liability insurance in the likely multimillion euro defence of his alleged involvement in a data breach action being taken by former INM executives Gavin O’Reilly and Karl Brophy.
