The sale of the well-known Buswells Hotel at a guide price of €22 million has been pulled after agreement with a potential bidder could not be reached. The special liquidators of IBRC put the hotel, which is immediately across the road from Leinster House, on the market last September. The Murtagh family, who are best known for founding Kingspan, were reported by The Sunday Times in December to be in exclusive talks to buy the hotel but these have now ended.
