Realta Fusion, a fusion energy company co-founded by Wexford-born Kieran Furlong, has raised $12 million in funding from one of America’s smartest investors and the United States Department of Energy. The funding is made up of $9 million from the private sector seed round led by Khosla Ventures, a firm focused on assisting entrepreneurs to build impactful technology-based disruptive companies.
