Irish entrepreneur Terry Clune has sold his global payroll provider business Immedis for over €550 million, a deal that ranks as one the largest fintech exits in Irish corporate history. The buyer is UKG Inc, a US multinational that approached Clune’s overall holding company, Kilkenny-based CluneTech, nine months ago to see if it was interested in selling the global payroll provider. UKG was already an Immedis customer, and the two businesses had partnered for a number of years.
