One of Ireland’s only privately-owned schools and an educational haven for the children of Cork’s elite is set to close as it has struggled to attract pupils in recent years. Rockboro is an atypical primary school in Ballintemple, Cork for children aged 3 to 13. Co-educational, and multi-denominational it is entirely independent of the state and religious orders.
