The Bord Gais Energy theatre and property investor iPut have lodged a legal challenge over plans for two retail kiosks at Grand Canal Square in Dublin’s Silicon Docks. The proposal to change the two metal structures that currently exist on the square into a florist and a coffee dock was granted permission on May 3 by Dublin City Council. The project is by Fastwell, a firm owned by Rita Crosbie, wife of developer Harry Crosbie. The triangular structures currently provide pedestrian access to the underground carpark.
