RTÉ has begun to order staff to disclose all payments, goods or other benefits received from commercial partners in the last three years. Sports journalists were asked to fill in lengthy disclosure forms yesterday to be returned by noon on Tuesday, but this is just the start of what will be a process that will cover all on-air journalists and presenters as well as, potentially, contractors.
