The board of the National Children’s Hospital’s suit against contractor BAM has been re-entered into the Commercial Court after “difficult and time-consuming talks” failed to resolve the dispute. The application was made by lawyers for BAM after more than 18 months of settlement negotiations failed to achieve a result. The board first initiated the proceedings in 2020 after multiple rows on the project arose, leading to various claims and counterclaims in court.
