Emerald Investment is in advanced discussions to buy one of Dublin’s most popular bars on Camden Street, Dublin 2. Founded by financier Alan McIntosh, Emerald has a range of assets including the Old Storehouse on Crown Alley in Temple Bar, which was bought for €16 million the month before the pandemic started in 2020.  Its new acquisition is Devitt’s, a long-established pub that combines live music, good food and traditional bar service.  The price being offered for the pub could not be confirmed but it is thought to be between €14 million and €18 million.
