Cóndor Inversiones SpA, a Chile-based renewable energy company set up by Irish-founded Mainstream Renewable Power, along with two affiliates, filed for Chapter 11 protection on Friday in the Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Texas. The move marks another escalation in a major dispute between Mainstream and Ares Management, a $295 billion alternative investment manager.
