Presenter Ryan Tubridy is in advanced negotiations with RTÉ to accept a salary significantly under €200,000 and return a controversial €150,000 top-up paid to him by the state broadcaster in order to return the airwaves. RTÉ is also prepared to publish the details of his contract with the state broadcaster, as he has volunteered previously to do so publicly.
