The Health Service Executive (HSE) is preparing to turn Ireland’s biggest hotel into a field hospital for patients infected with the coronavirus. The Currency has learned that the HSE is close to agreeing a deal with the owners of the Citywest Hotel, investment firm Tetrarch Capital. Talks have been ongoing for at least two weeks as the HSE rapidly ramps up its response to the pandemic.
