Glenman Corporation, the construction group owned by Albert and Michael Conneally, is working on a plan to build a major new private hospital in Galway costing hundreds of millions of euro. Glenman has prepared designs to convert an existing building into a new hospital with ten theatres and 136 beds. The proposed new hospital would be the first private hospital to be built in the city since the Galway Clinic opened in 2004.
