A new High Court action by a well-known Irish pig farm is part of an international dispute in the supply chain of semen for the artificial insemination of livestock. Future Pigs Ltd, the Costello family-owned operator of pig farms in Nurney, Co Kildare, and Kiltimagh, Co Mayo, has lodged plenary proceedings against Elite Sires Ltd, a company based in Coleraine, Co Derry and a leading supplier of pig semen in Ireland.
