Dublin-headquartered US pharmaceutical group Mallinckrodt has entered examinership for a second time in a bid to urgently tackle group debts of $3.6 billion. Grant Thornton’s Michael McAteer has been appointed interim examiner to the Irish parent company, which holds the group’s intellectual property, following an ex parte petition to Justice Michael Quinn in the High Court by company directors on Wednesday.
