The recently appointed chief executive and acting deputy chief executive of the Peter McVerry Trust wrote a letter to its board on September 18 outlining their fears about the “precarious situation” facing the charity, correspondence that was copied to the Department of Housing. The letter preceded a move on Tuesday by the Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority (AHBRA) to appoint inspectors to the charity.
