Alternative lender Lotus has appointed a receiver to certain assets in Dublin 4 owned by companies controlled by the developer Greg Kavanagh. Accountant Aiden Murphy of Crowe LLP has been installed as receiver to strategic land off Shaw’s Lane near Bath Avenue and the Aviva Stadium where Kavanagh had been working on plans to build a 300-bedroom hotel and sports museum. The land that the receiver has been appointed to is divided by a car park which Kavanagh owns on an unencumbered basis.
