A creditors meeting has been called by the company behind two well-known pubs in Dalkey and Temple Bar which are owned by the actor Gary Whelan. The two venues, The Dalkey Duck and The Wild Duck, have called a meeting of creditors for October 25. Accountant Nicholas O’Dwyer of Grant Thornton is expected to be appointed liquidator to the companies behind the two pubs.
