A creditors meeting has been called by the company behind two well-known pubs in Dalkey and Temple Bar which are owned by the actor Gary Whelan. The two venues, The Dalkey Duck and The Wild Duck, have called a meeting of creditors for October 25. Accountant Nicholas O’Dwyer of Grant Thornton is expected to be appointed liquidator to the companies behind the two pubs. Solly White’s Ltd is the operating company of The Dalkey Duck while Soley Black Ltd is behind the Wild Duck in Temple Bar.
