An Irish company set up post-Brexit by EasyJet founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou to pursue intellectual property infringement claims in the EU has launched its first High Court action, filings show. Easygroup IP Ireland Ltd was incorporated on June 6 of this year as an IP leasing subsidiary of UK parent Easygroup. Haji-Ioannou told The Irish Independent at the time that the main reason for incorporating a wholly-owned subsidiary of his UK company in Ireland is to pursue litigation in relation to intellectual property in the post-Brexit European Union.
