Located just around the corner from central Dublin’s Leeson Street, Hatch Hall is a Victorian complex that looks straight out of a Harry Potter story. In late August, the Red Carnation international hotel group sold the property, initially built by University College Dublin to accommodate scholars in the heart of Dublin 2. CBRE Hotels was guiding €25 million and the deal was sealed for €23 million. The property came with planning permission for conversion into a 60-bedroom luxury hotel with a gross floor area of 7,292 square metres.
