Last year, The Currency revealed the existence of two standalone companies dedicated to the distribution of cash- and share-based incentives to senior staff in the National Broadband Ireland (NBI) group, which is tasked with rolling out the subsidised National Broadband Plan (NBP) across rural Ireland. New company information from the NBI group now indicates how much money is available to pay these bonuses if executives hit their targets. Metallah DAC, the central holding company in the group, has just filed consolidated accounts including a €25.8 million once-off charge related to the management investment plan in place from 2019 to 2028. …
