The past year and a half was an eventful one for the St Vincent’s Healthcare Group (SVHG). On April 28, 2022, the Religious Sister of Charities transferred ownership of the group of voluntary and private hospitals to a new independent charity, St Vincent’s Holdings CLG. This was a condition for the Government’s approval of the plan to build the new National Maternity Hospital on SVHG’s Elm Park campus in south Dublin three weeks later.
