In 1957, at the tender age of 28, Cork man Finbarr Ronayne set out on an ambitious entrepreneurial journey, founding Ronayne Shipping to provide ship chartering for the importation of chocolate crumb. Made from a blend of sugar, milk and cocoa liquor, it is a key ingredient that gives milk chocolate its distinctive flavour.
