Entrepreneur Seán Gallagher is preparing a bid for the Slieve Russell, the four-star Cavan hotel founded by former billionaire Seán Quinn. Gallagher has appointed Tom Barrett, the experienced director of hotels and leisure in Savills, to advise his bid, which is still at an early stage.
