Provisional liquidators have been appointed to the company behind PFS Card Services Ireland Ltd (PCSIL), a standalone unit in the EML Group, which has over €500 million of cardholders’ funds. About two million payment cards have been issued by PCSIL in 24 jurisdictions. Accountants Andrew O’Leary and Kieran Wallace of Interpath Advisory were appointed as provisional liquidators to the company following a court application before Justice Mark Sanfey this Wednesday.
