Google Ireland Ltd has launched a High Court action against the Data Protection Commission (DPC), new court filings show. The tech giant applied for leave to pursue a judicial review case against the data watchdog on Thursday. A&L Goodbody is acting for the company. According to Google, as the matter has not yet been formally opened to the Court, it is limited in the information that it can share.
