The joint liquidators of GTLK Europe, the Irish-based global aviation lessor formerly controlled by the Kremlin, are seeking compensation from insurers over the loss of 37 aircraft, valued at nearly €2 billion, stranded in Russia. The case against 10 insurance companies including Lloyds, Chubb, and AIG Europe, was fast-tracked into the Commercial division of the High Court on Monday. Ownership of the jets is in dispute, the court was told.
