The Labour Court has recommended a significant boost in pay over a two-year window for 250 Siptu drivers at Go-Ahead Ireland, one of the country’s top private bus operators. If the court’s recommendation is accepted by both sides, pay would increase by four per cent from this month and then by a further 3.25 per cent from February next year. Court recommendations are not binding, however, the parties are expected to give them serious consideration.
