Journalists Aoife Moore and Allison Morris launched High Court defamation proceedings against former Sunday Independent columnist Eoghan Harris in 2021 over tweets sent from various accounts on X (formerly Twitter). The content of the tweets, sent on dates between 2020 and 2021, is alleged to have been malicious and injurious to their reputations. Harris denies defamation.
