CIÉ has brought High Court possession proceedings against Ronan Group company, Tanat Limited, in a dispute over land earmarked for a 22-storey hotel development beside Tara Street train station in Dublin. The public transport company, which owns the land, says the Johnny Ronan-owned development company is in default of a lease, having allegedly failed to discharge a license fee payment of €186,505 that fell due on November 1, 2023, and because it is in receivership.
