A Dublin-based blockchain company once valued at €108 million is suing an investor, alleging he has wrongly appropriated valuable intellectual property from the firm for use in a rival product. Dublin-based firm QPQ Limited claims minority shareholder Gerardus Henricus Michel Maria Schute, otherwise known as Geert Schute, copied the blockchain solution known as 1DLT to help make a competing product called Wowen with RunTime Machines, a Swiss company Schute allegedly co-founded in 2022.
