The High Court has refused an application to strike out proceedings brought by house builder Glenveagh against two serial objectors to the developer’s planning applications and permissions at 16 different housing sites as far as 200 kilometres from where they lived.  Pat Lynch and Denise Leavy (otherwise Denis Leavy, DM Leavy or D Leavy) had attempted to have a case being taken against them by Glenveagh struck out in the courts, by claiming it was a strategic lawsuit against public participation (Slapp).  Glenveagh took the case against the pair, seeking damages for the costs incurred due to the delays caused…
