Eleven members of the Oireachtas are among an international group of parliamentarians targeted for hacking by a Chinese spy agency, according to US officials. The information first appeared indirectly in public records through an indictment unsealed by the State Department on March 25, charging seven nationals of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) with conspiracy to commit computer intrusions and conspiracy to commit wire fraud against officials, businesses and activists in the US and other countries.
