British private equity firm Exponent is in exclusive talks to acquire a controlling stake in Northern Ireland’s biggest private hospital group, which also owns a hospital in Sligo, called the Kingsbridge Healthcare Group. The price being paid for the group, which has four hospitals and 11 clinical facilities, is around £300 million (€347 million). PwC in London was appointed to sell the thriving hospital group last year, as first reported by The Currency in October.
