The expectations of companies to report on their sustainability efforts are set to become much more stringent. July 6 marks the deadline for EU member states including Ireland to transpose the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, or CSRD, into national law. Essentially the directive puts sustainability reporting on a similar footing as financial – bringing all the responsibilities that come with that.
