Donegal businessman Paddy Doherty has acquired his second pub in suburban Dublin after submitting the highest bid for Ashton’s in Clonskeagh, Dublin 6. The pub is one of three pubs recently put on the market by the Press Up Hospitality Group, founded by Paddy McKillen Jr and Matt Ryan. Ashton’s was bought for €3 million in 2022 by Oakmont, the property development arm of Press Up, which completed a multi-million refurbishment of the 611 sq metre property.  In addition to Ashton’s, CBRE also put The Foxhunter pub in Lucan, Co Dublin and Thomas Rody Mahers on Baggot Street in Dublin…
