Principal Logistics Technologies, a Dublin company building software for the logistics industry, has been acquired by a US firm backed by the owners of Chelsea FC. The Ongar-based company, which is more than 30 years old, has been scooped up by Aptean, a major player in the industrial software space. Principal Logistics Technologies (PLT) develops software for managing warehouse operations and logistics supply chains with operations across Ireland and the UK.
