As the multi-billion Russian aviation insurance suit adjourns for the summer recess after two months at hearing, the fallout from the war in Ukraine continues among lessors. The latest suit to wing its way to the Commercial Court is valued at $89.68 million (€82.99 million) and comes courtesy of aircraft lessors controlled by FTAI Aviation, the Nasdaq-listed global provider of commercial jet engine and aircraft leasing services.
