CM Squared, a New York finance house that works with institutional investors and family offices, has emerged as the new equity investor in Sigma Wireless Telecom, the company pursuing a €500 million claim against the State over the awarding of the State’s second mobile phone licence. CM Squared, through a Cayman Islands vehicle called CM Squared Sigma Investor LP, has purchased 497 shares in Sigma Wireless Telecom, according to filings with the Companies Registration Office in Dublin in recent days.
