Glenveagh Homes has raised concerns that two serial planning objectors it has lodged proceedings against in an alleged “shakedown” case continue to file planning submissions against the developer’s housing plans. Glenveagh took the case against Pat Lynch and Denise Leavy, both with addresses in Proudstown, Navan, Co Meath, seeking damages for the costs incurred due to the delays caused by their multiple objections. The duo have put in submissions or appeals against the developer’s planning applications and permissions at 16 different housing sites, some as far as 200 kilometres from where they live in Co Meath.
