HTC, the Taiwanese tech firm, has been quietly building up a new “business hub” for its virtual reality business in Ireland. Since early 2022, HTC’s metaverse division Viverse has been pumping money into a little-known Irish-registered company, Viverse Limited. In recent weeks a UK Viverse company put $24 million (€21.96 million) into the Irish subsidiary.
