Two of Ireland’s largest insurers are facing off in a High Court battle connected with the Larry Goodman-owned pet food manufacturer C&D Foods. C&D Foods and Liberty Seguros Compania de Seguros y Reaseguros SA, trading as Liberty Insurance, both represented by Dillon Eustace, have issued proceedings against Zurich Insurance Europe AG, High Court records show.  The nature of the dispute is not yet clear but a plenary summons was issued on August 7.
