Elon Musk’s satellite broadband venture Starlink has booked a sizeable increase in revenue through Ireland. The division of SpaceX builds satellite terminals for receiving high-speed broadband. It entered the Irish market in 2021 with services in rural Kerry, intended to provide rapid internet services in blackspots. Starlink had revenues of $122.4 million (€110 million) for the financial year ending December 2022. This is up more than $100 million the previous year when it booked $16.3 million in revenue.
