Businessman Denis O’Brien is buying the Conrad Algarve in Quinta do Lago for over €100 million. This is a significant addition to O’Brien’s existing assets in the region, which he started to accumulate in 1998 when he bought the Quinta do Lago resort. It also marks a return to O’Brien acquiring assets after several years when he appeared to be mainly selling them.
