When The Currency visited the global head office of Medtronic PLC at 20 Hatch Street Lower in Dublin 2 this Thursday, the company’s name was still emblazoned across the windows of the first floor. However, the notice issued to shareholders earlier this month for the company’s AGM on October 17 was clear: The principal executive office of Medtronic is now located in Building 2 of the Parkmore Business Park in Galway, and the meeting will take place in the western city’s G Hotel.
