SportCaller, which makes free-to-play sport prediction games, was acquired by Bally’s Corporation, an NYSE-listed casino operator in the US, more than three years ago. The Irish company was led by Cillian Barry and backed by some luminaries in the betting space, including from the Paddy Power empire. However, Bally’s Corporation’s integration with the Irish operations has faced some hiccups with a SportCaller higher-up recently securing an injunction against the company to prevent his dismissal.
